The short version

MCdle has no accounts and no login. Your guesses and your streak are kept in your own browser and are never sent to us.

What is stored on your device

A single entry in your browser's local storage holds today's guesses, whether you finished, and your current and best streak. Clearing your browser data deletes it, and there is no copy anywhere else — which also means your streak does not follow you to another device or browser.

What we collect

We use two third-party tools. Google Analytics counts page views and tells us which pages people use and roughly where they are in the world. Microsoft Clarity records anonymised session replays and heatmaps — that means your clicks, scrolls and mouse movement on this site are recorded so we can see where the interface confuses people.

Neither tool is given your name, your email or anything else that identifies you, because we never ask for those. Both set their own cookies and both may process data outside your country.

We do not sell data and we do not build advertising profiles from it. If you would rather not be recorded, a browser-level tracker blocker will stop both, and the game keeps working normally.

Advertising

The site may show display advertising to cover hosting. Ad providers can set their own cookies; where the law requires it you will be asked first, and you can decline without losing access to the game.

Children

MCdle is a puzzle about a game played by a lot of children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, of any age, because we do not collect personal information at all.
